5MP video has 100% more pixels in a frame than standard 1080P (2MP) HD. Additional pixels make the digital zoom more effective, providing more details at close distances or the ability to digitally zoom in on details at a greater distance than before.
Human detection is the latest tech in reducing fake alarms for customers. Human detection and tracking are tasks of computer vision systems for locating and following people in video imagery. They are generally considered the first two processes in a video surveillance pipeline and can feed into higher-level reasoning modules such as action recognition and dynamic scene analysis.
Built-in microphone cameras are perfect for recording even the quietest audible disturbance. Place the camera on a terrace, patio, porch, or any indoor room in your home for perfect audio recordings with only crisp, clear quality.
With Power over Ethernet (PoE), you only need to connect your Ethernet cable to power your PoE security cameras. Data also travels both ways through an Ethernet cable, PoE software not only sends data and commands to devices, but it also collects data. This gives you flexibility to install your security cameras almost anywhere you want, without the extra worries of keeping them plugged in nearby electrical outlets.
GW’s high-quality LEDs allow these HD IP cameras to see up to 100ft in complete darkness for 24-hour-a-day protection. GW Cameras use the latest high intensity IR LED technologies for maximum coverage. The image shown is an actual capture from a 5MP camera in total darkness.
IR range and image quality can be affected by surfaces that absorb or reflect the IR light differently when in total darkness. Camera location or position may need to be adjusted to optimize the images. Some ambient lighting provides the best results for night surveillance.
An IP66-rated security camera has a rugged design and durable construction that’s rated for general outdoor use. An IP66-rated camera offers excellent performance even in harsh conditions such as: Dust storms, Wind, rain, sleet, even blowing snow. What performance specs can you count on from an IP66 standardized rating? You can count on an IP66 to provide the following:
Level 6 Dust Protection: The highest level of dust protection, with no intrusion of dust whatsoever permitted.
Level 6 Water Protection: The third-highest level of water protection, impervious to precipitation or hose-directed water streams, blowing snow and sleet.
Optical zoom is the best quality of zoom, using the lens in the camera to magnify the scene to provide the best and clearest image. Optical zoom is like using a pair of binoculars to see farther away. With 4X optical zoom, you are given more choices for camera placement and zoom into what is most important. The lens inside the camera has the ability to move producing much better-quality images.
Digital zoom is available when used with our security DVR recorders and is useful for HD security cameras with resolutions of 1080P and higher. Since higher resolution cameras and the better the quality of the digital zoom produce the most detailed images.
While digital zoom can be done after video has been recorded, optical zoom needs to be executed or set in live video at the actual moment the incident of interest happens.
A 2.8~12mm Manual Zoom Varifocal Lens offers much more flexibility than cameras with a fixed lens and allows you to adjust the angle of view between 125 degrees to 37 degrees.
A smaller lens value shows a shorter viewing distance with a wider field of view angle; a larger lens value allows for a further viewing distance but a narrower field of view angle.
Up to 12MP resolution recording, Ultra 265/H.265/H.264 Video Formats.
NVR built-in 8 PoE ports and 2 USB ports, 1 SATA HDD port (up to 10TB).
Quick Access QR Code Remote Viewing on iPhone, iPad, and Android (w/ included Free app).

Zechariah (verified owner) –
The cameras are heavy and look very well made. Sturdy mounts and clever weatherproof cable connectors. Night vision is surprisingly good, but the software interface is a little clunky.
Xabi (verified owner) –
Best money you can spend on a security system. The picture quality and night vision are excellent and the are metal tough as hell
