    The nvr is not recording video if the light is not on. Make sure you have a recording schedule set up in the nvr. If there is a recording schedule in place then please go to the ‘Device’ settings in the nvr interface. Go to the hdd option. There you will able to verify the nvr is detecting the hard drive and reformat the drive. This should allow the nvr to begin recording.
