4K video has 400% more pixels in a frame than standard 1080P (2MP) HD. Additional pixels make the digital zoom more effective, providing more details at close distances or the ability to digitally zoom in on details at a greater distance than before.

With Power over Ethernet (PoE), you only need to connect your Ethernet cable to power your PoE security cameras. Data also travels both ways through an Ethernet cable, PoE software not only sends data and commands to devices, but it also collects data. This gives you flexibility to install your security cameras almost anywhere you want, without the extra worries of keeping them plugged in nearby electrical outlets.
GW’s high-quality LEDs allow these HD IP cameras to see up to 100ft in complete darkness for 24-hour-a-day protection. GW Cameras use the latest high intensity IR LED technologies for maximum coverage. The image shown is an actual capture from a 8MP camera in total darkness.
IR range and image quality can be affected by surfaces that absorb or reflect the IR light differently when in total darkness. Camera location or position may need to be adjusted to optimize the images. Some ambient lighting provides the best results for night surveillance.
An IP66-rated security camera has a rugged design and durable construction that’s rated for general outdoor use. An IP66-rated camera offers excellent performance even in harsh conditions such as: Dust storms, Wind, rain, sleet, even blowing snow. Level 6 Dust Protection: The highest level of dust protection, with no intrusion of dust whatsoever permitted.
Level 6 Water Protection: The third-highest level of water protection, impervious to precipitation or hose-directed water streams, blowing snow and sleet.
IK10 is the highest rating possible for protection against impact in Security Cameras. Feel assured this camera can be used in applications with high rates of vandalism. IK10 rated will generally withstand a variety of elements better than standard Dome or Bullet Style Cameras.

Haven’t done my final install yet, but preliminary install went great! The app is very nice compared to other similar surveillance systems. Interface on the box isn’t completely terrible either, which was a surprise. Limited picture quality testing both night and day looks great.
