5MP video has 100% more pixels in a frame than standard 1080P (2MP) HD. Additional pixels make the digital zoom more effective, providing more details at close distances or the ability to digitally zoom in on details at a greater distance than before.
Built-in microphone cameras are perfect for recording even the quietest audible disturbance. Place the camera on a terrace, patio, porch, or any indoor room in your home for perfect audio recordings with only crisp, clear quality.
With Power over Ethernet (PoE), you only need to connect your Ethernet cable to power your PoE security cameras. Data also travels both ways through an Ethernet cable, PoE software not only sends data and commands to devices, but it also collects data. This gives you flexibility to install your security cameras almost anywhere you want, without the extra worries of keeping them plugged in nearby electrical outlets.
Optical zoom is the best quality of zoom, using the lens in the camera to magnify the scene to provide the best and clearest image. Optical zoom is like using a pair of binoculars to see farther away. With 4X optical zoom, you are given more choices for camera placement and zoom into what is most important. The lens inside the camera has the ability to move producing much better-quality images.
A 2.8~12mm Manual Zoom Varifocal Lens offers much more flexibility than cameras with a fixed lens and allows you to adjust the angle of view between 125 degrees to 37 degrees.
A smaller lens value shows a shorter viewing distance with a wider field of view angle; a larger lens value allows for a further viewing distance but a narrower field of view angle.
GW’s high-quality LEDs allow these HD IP cameras to see up to 130ft in complete darkness for 24-hour-a-day protection. GW Cameras use the latest high intensity IR LED technologies for maximum coverage. The image shown is an actual capture from a 5MP camera in total darkness.
IR range and image quality can be affected by surfaces that absorb or reflect the IR light differently when in total darkness. Camera location or position may need to be adjusted to optimize the images. Some ambient lighting provides the best results for night surveillance.

Easy to set up system. Of course you need to run de CAT5 cables, which also provide the power to the cameras but there are sticking templates to make the drilling of the holes to support the cameras easier. Now I can watch my cameras using my cell phone or the HDMI monitor connected to NVR of the system.
